We were really diplomatic in times, we spent together. Some sorrows and some conflicts it’s a sign of living together so I shouldn’t have to regret. The Conflicts were more but those were behind the back, we never blamed or struggled en face de, but the time we were happy those I really remember a lot rather feeling the sense of quarrel. Oh I forgot to tell, it’s about the event just passed and I am noting it down on the lovely diary rather watching those passing trees and farms developed on the side of TGV forming a vista; from Grenoble to Lyon. Just bent down to see a girl who is just seating next, around 3 meters away, how does she is looking in between caught a thought to go to her and speak in French to practice ….but anyways I am seem to be busy with some writing and emotional work so better speaking is the 2nd priority. Actually a friend of mine came to show his * face for the last time before we meet for the next time, I think this event is probably expected on the next time, may be at the Bondy beach!
In the beginning we 3 guys came together to live in Grenoble, fortunately unfortunately we are still together without such issues to be concerned about. The very first apartment we shared was located at Champs Elysees, Grenoble. In the fresh mood I could tell you what the difference is, if you compare Champs Elysees Grenoble and Champs Elysees at Paris because just had a trip to Paris for around 3 days,. If I don’t exaggerate it should be the same if we put the leadership of Hitler in competition with Mr. Manmohan Singh’s. As moving a little and rather going in flashback I am fast forwarding, I visited Champs Elysees with an exceptional French girl happened to be from the cultural family whose parents are still togetherJ. This road is such a beautiful and always crowded like Mumbai’s CST-Azad Maidan road; on the both side of the road you would see shops of all luxurious brands including cars, Textiles, fast food retail chains, Jeweler and watches ranging around 9000euros…. This road starts from the Concorde place where most of corporate offices and ministerial houses are located. With reference to administration offices US consulate is also there in a huge building, if I compare this with my countries embassy then I should not feel ashamed, whether it is cheaply decorated and presented. I mean being a nationalist we can’t blame each and everything. As we are blaming for the poverty, employment, infrastructure and many more issues, so no comment on the embassy matter. Still just saying in the reference, what happened on the second day of my Paris trip I gone to the embassy so as to submit my passport’s copy. The location is so well, so I reached there in only about an hour and half. I visited there from the opposite side, where all officers and consulate regarding work get done (which actually doesn’t come in my jurisdiction). The very first thing I noticed was the flag, but unfortunately it wasn’t so impressive to be presented. A thought came into my mind that, these guys might be on strike during last independence and republic day. I mean to say that the flag was not in a good condition to be hanged at the embassy’s main entrance. In the same region I have seen an embassy of one of the African country, I don’t really remember the name, but two blacks were standing outside it; actually that was a better designed and maintained as an embassy.
The street of Champs Elysees ends at la defense, which is a square shaped huge building looks like a modern non sculptured port de la France which is not built for soldiers as a monument but a corporate office of the MNC’s. This huge area I think it was a hill top few years back, but currently full of MNC’s sky scrapers. If you look straight 1000mtrs from there you would see 10 roads meeting at a location called as Arc de Triumph. This monument was built in the memory of a soldier, only one whose dead body was found after the Second World War to be buried (even I didn’t know this but instructor told me the fact she knows the truth and even I am not interested to put it in Google to search it). After spending a nice evening the next day I visited tour de Eiffel the thing I should mention, French government has given utmost priority to these Singhalese, when I reached near Eiffel I saw few flags waving around, but those were looking like somewhat from Asian origin so to confirm I went near and realized some Tamil tigers were manifesting for their rights.
I thought it’s better to move ahead and see the Eiffel rather wasting my time in knowing purpose of manifestation. I was wondering as if I am roaming around CST where I could find some trespassers selling toys and ornaments, 10-15 Pakistani guys were moving around the musee d’Architecture having loads of miniatures of petite tour Eiffel and I am sure those were habitué there without any legal documents.
From here you can see a magnificent view of the tour Eiffel, a fountain heading around 500 meters and lawn grown on the both sides, this lawns especially designed for the Europeans who like to get sun tanned or I should say sun burnt! Sometimes it’s really difficult to understand how these people could expose themselves so easily, as we or I should not regret it ;) but still it’s not digestive if a family going fully necked and enjoying trip on the beach (near Vancouver, Canada I have just heard about it but possibly it’s true).
If you think you are somewhat artistic, if not still if you could behave like that then Paris is really an awesome place to wonder around because it is full of Monuments, Museums, fountains and developing new structures but surely can’t compete with Hong Kong in any ways, if you just look at Paris Metro it is efficient but as a developed city doesn’t count anything, it is just an underground Mumbai local train.
The very next day I went to a place where I felt that I have reached India without as such expenses on airfare, but surely missing all of you. It was an around a kilometer long street where all the Indian restaurants, grocery shops, and to be very specific you could find many Silk Saree shops. It is the place where you could feel you are in the south of India. Most of Tamil (Sri Lankan) people have setup Indian restaurants on behalf of India and generating enough revenue so even French government can’t put them out of the picture. Even the manifestations held by them are under the police high alert security, Noticeable!
At the end of Paris trip I was a little sleepy, and was feeling “A prisoner of Birth”, I almost walked 25kms just in 3 days to discover, and that’s what the logic is if you want to know any new city. Walk around, speak with people unnecessarily just to know their point of view towards mob, few are very interesting, but some of them you could find racist or may be they pretend that they haven't heard you or may feel that your are a sophisticated beggar who has lost his travel ticket and asking for the money. The prisoner is in the cage, still some days to pass to get the appeal in the court of California!
